Un verbo es reflexivo cuando el sujeto realiza la acción y la recibe sobre sí mismo (Sujeto = Objeto). En infinitivo siempre terminan en -SE (ej. levantarse, lavarse, vestirse).A verb is reflexive when the subject performs the action and receives it back onto itself (Subject = Object). In infinitive form they always end in -SE (e.g. levantarse, lavarse, vestirse).

Regla de oro: La irregularidad de la raíz ocurre en todas las personas excepto en Nosotros y Vosotros:
• O ➔ UE:Acostarse ➔ me acuesto, te acuestas, se acuesta, nos acostamos, se acuestan.
• E ➔ IE:Despertarse ➔ me despierto, te despiertas, nos despertamos, se despiertan.
• E ➔ I:Vestirse ➔ me visto, te vistes, se viste, nos vestimos, se visten.
Golden rule: The stem change occurs in all persons except Nosotros and Vosotros:
• O ➔ UE:Acostarse ➔ me acuesto, te acuestas, nos acostamos.
• E ➔ IE:Despertarse ➔ me despierto, te despiertas, nos despertamos.
• E ➔ I:Vestirse ➔ me visto, te vistes, nos vestimos.
