1 ¿Para qué sirven las oraciones concesivas? What are concessive clauses used for?
Concessive clauses express an obstacle, difficulty, or contradiction that nevertheless does not prevent the main clause action from taking place.
Ejemplo básico: «Aunque llueve, voy a salir a pasear.»
Basic example: «Aunque llueve, voy a salir a pasear.» (Even though it is raining, I will go for a walk.) ➔ Rain is the obstacle, but the decision to go out stands firm.
¿Cuándo usamos Indicativo y cuándo Subjuntivo?
When do we use Indicative and when Subjunctive?
In Spanish, choosing between Indicative and Subjunctive in concessives does not depend merely on the conjunction, but on the speaker's communicative intention and degree of certainty:

➔ Supuesto futuro: no sabemos todavía cuánto trabajará.➔ Future hypothesis: we do not know yet how much work there will be.
