The Present Perfect Subjunctive is used to talk about past actions that are connected to the present, especially when expressing emotions, doubts, denials, or wishes about something that has already happened.
To form this tense, you need two parts: the present subjunctive of the auxiliary verb HABER + the Past Participle (Participio Pasado) of the main verb.

To form the regular past participle, drop the infinitive ending and add:

Just like the Present Subjunctive, you need a "trigger" in the main clause (such as a wish, emotion, or doubt). We use the Present Perfect Subjunctive when the main clause is in the Present or Future tense, but the action in the subjunctive clause happened prior to the main clause.

La semana pasada se celebró el gran festival de cine en la ciudad. Los críticos están muy contentos con los resultados. "Me alegra mucho que el director haya conseguido dinero para hacer el cortometraje", comentó una famosa periodista ayer.
Sin embargo, hay mucha controversia con la película ganadora. Es una sorpresa que Ricardo Darín haya participado en una película así, porque no es su estilo habitual. Además, es increíble que el cortometraje favorito del público no haya ganado el Óscar.
